The Spectrum Enterprise UI team completed a design challenge to brainstorm branding ideas for our design system, Mountaineer. My "Purple Mountain Majesty" theme was chosen for implementation. The mockups below are the original designs, and layouts used to depict the general theme before brand creation.

Why brand a design system?
• Creating a unique brand reduces the risk of implementing similar colors or text styles that are not apart of the design system.
• Branding our system allows our partners in product and engineering an obvious visual reference for guidelines, documentation, and usage.
• Separates our system from other design systems in the industry.
